WELCOME TO TRAVEL VIDEOSIt's now been almost a week since I got a moderately bad cold that essentially stopped my training. No fever, no nausea, no real weakness - just congestion and a pretty bad cough; so safe to say it's not the Swine Flu (H1N1). I'm trying to view this as a forced early taper; most importantly, I hope to be able to get in another week's worth of at least light training before the race begins. As part of my motivation, here's a road trip video of the Cabot Trail - Cape Breton, Nova Scotia here I come, healthy or not!

Here's a video promoting travel to Vietnam, clearly targeting American tourists. While the voice over is rather dull and mysteriously refers to the city of Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City), there is a good albeit quick overview of some of the natural wonders and interesting culture of Vietnam. Highlights as always are Halong Bay and the Mekong Delta.

Great promo video for Ikoma Bush Camp, on the edge of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The clip shows the lodging accommodations, detailed room photos and the eating and restaurant facilities. It also highlights some of the animals you'll see near the camp, as well as during both day and night safaris. Notable are the giraffes and elusive leopard!

Great short clip of elephants taking a bath on a Serengeti safari in Tanzania. It's fun to see the elephants splashing around getting cool and clean, but even better is the enormous number of elephants in the herd in the background - I've never seen that many elephants in one video clip before!
